About Yasser Alsamman, MD
Yasser Alsamman, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He specializes in the evaluation and management of both common and complex GI disorders, with an emphasis on preventive care, long-term disease management, and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Alsamman performs routine diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, including colon cancer screening and surveillance. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Alsamman earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Weill Cornell Medical College in Doha, Qatar. He completed his internal medicine residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by fellowship training in gastroenterology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Originally from Saudi Arabia, Dr. Alsamman is pleased to call North Texas home. He has been practicing gastroenterology since 2021.
Outside of work, Dr. Alsamman enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, swimming, learning new skills, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
